On Friday, September 7, at 3 p.m., head to the 19th Street beach in Ocean City for a volleyball fundraising event to benefit local resident Joy Geller Simmerman.
The Ocean City Firefighters Association is hosting the Spike Out Cancer Family Volleyball event to help raise funds for a brave local woman currently battling stage 4 breast cancer. For a $25 donation, event attendees will take part in an afternoon of volleyball for this wonderful cause. The donation will include snacks, beverages and the opportunity to spike some volleyballs in Joy’s name and show her that support is right here in town!
100% of the proceeds raised from this fabulous fundraiser will go directly to benefit Joy and her family.
For more information, contact Chris at (609) 412-6663, and be sure to visit the Caring Bridge website, which is a great way to learn more about Joy and her journey in the fight against cancer.
Mark September 7 down on the calendar and plan to be at 19th Street beach to take part in this amazing fundraiser for Joy!
