Every Saturday, the market organizers will offer a table to a young entrepreneur (age 12 or under) who would like to sell their handmade, non-food items. What the organizers ask in return is simply for the child to donate a small portion of their sale proceeds to a charity of their choice. This Saturday’s Young Entrepreneur’s Club vendor will be 12-year-old Gianna from The Crafty Turtle, selling handmade items, including scented sachets, pajama bottoms, hand sanitizer key chain holders and more. A portion of Gianna’s proceeds will be donated to the Humane Society.
Do you have a child who may be interested in selling their creative items? Simply send a private Facebook message to Linwood Farmers Market or email your request to firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Linwood Farmers Market will take place each Saturday this fall, from September 15 through November 3. Farmers market visitors are asked to bring reusable shopping bags with them on Saturdays.
