The 3rd Annual Chili Chowder Festival will take place on Sunday, October 14, from 1–4 p.m., at the Ocean City Music Pier.
The festival, presented by the Ocean City Restaurant Association and sponsored by Ocean City Magazine, is a dining and fundraising event rolled into one. Sample a wide array of chili and chowder offerings from local restaurants while supporting the Ocean City Firefighters Foundation, which raises money for a wide variety of local charitable causes.
For the second year in a row, the Ocean City firefighters will have a competition unfolding during the Chili Chowder Festival, as firefighters from the three firehouses will go head-to-head in a not-to-be-missed chili cookoff. Festival attendees will get to sample chili prepared by the firefighters from each of the firehouses on the island and decide which firehouse’s chili concoction reigns supreme.
The cost to attend this delicious fundraiser is $15 for adults and $5 for kids, which includes unlimited chili and chowder samplings and a bottle of water. Tickets are currently available in person at Randazzo’s, Varsity Inn, all three fire stations (550 Asbury Avenue, 2901 West Avenue and 4518 West Avenue) and on the weekends at Johnny B. Goode Ice Cream Parlor.
Get your tickets today and support a wonderful cause while sampling sensational chili and chowder offerings at this year’s Ocean City Chili Chowder Festival.
