Whether cycling, running or shopping are what your weekend plans contain, Ocean City, New Jersey, is the place to take part in any or all of these activities this weekend.
MS City to Shore Ride (Sept. 29)
Cyclists who will be taking part in the MS City to Shore Ride on Saturday, September 29, will leave Cherry Hill, New Jersey, in the morning and make their way to the finish line in Ocean City later in the day. This invigorating ride is completed with the goal of raising money for the MS Society so that this wonderful organization may achieve its many multifaceted goals. Head to the finish line between 5th and 6th Streets near the boardwalk to cheer on the cyclists as they ride into Ocean City after completing their fabulous fundraising bike ride.
Boardwalk and Downtown Merchant Table Sales (Sept. 29 and 30)
Shoppers, get ready for some fantastic deals this weekend when the boardwalk and downtown merchants set up sales tables outside of their stores between 6th and 14th Streets. This store-owner-only sidewalk/boardwalk sale (sorry, artisan vendors, but you’ll get your chance to sell on October 6 during the Fall Block Party) will present a great opportunity for savvy shoppers to snag some deals on clothing, accessories, home décor and much more this weekend!
OCNJ Half Marathon, 5K and 10 Mile Non-Competitive Walk/Run (Sept. 30)
For the runners in the crowd, Sunday, September 30, is your day! The OCNJ Half Marathon, 5K and 10 Mile Non-Competitive Walk/Run will take place at this time. This excellent outdoor event not only allows participants to take part in the day’s festivities, but supports a wonderful cause at the same time—to benefit Ocean City recreation scholarships and programs. Sign-ups for the half marathon and 10 mile non-competitive walk/run are now closed, however, interested 5K runners may sign up on the day of the event.
