Happening This Weekend: Paint Jam, Porsche Promenade and Hero Walk/Run

The fall fun rolls on this weekend in Ocean City with creative art sessions, Porsche displays and the Hero Walk/Run fundraiser.

Dream Catcher Paint Jam at Peace of Wood (Oct. 19)

Embrace your creativity at the Dream Catcher Paint Jam at Peace of Wood on Friday, October 19, from 6:30–8:30 p.m. Participants will enjoy putting their creative visions down on a one-of-a-kind wood canvas and painting a unique dream catcher motif. Porsche 356 East Coast Holiday (Oct. 19 and 20)

A wide array of Porsche 356’s will be rolling into town, Friday, October 19, and Saturday, October 20, for the Porsche 356 East Coast Holiday event. Vintage (1948-1965) Porsches will be displayed on the boardwalk, from 5th to 14th Streets, offering car aficionados a close-up look at these automotive beauties.

John R. Elliott Hero Walk and 5K Run (Oct. 21)

The annual John R. Elliott Hero Walk and 5K Run returns to Ocean City on Sunday, October 21. The event is held each year to raise awareness as to the importance of having sober, designated drivers. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. at the Sports and Civic Center, located at 6th Street and Boardwalk, with the 5K starting at 9:30 a.m., awards and ceremony beginning at 10:30 a.m. and the walk commencing at 11 a.m. Proceeds from the event will support the Campaign’s mission to promote using safe, sober designated drivers.
