From the ever-popular Halloween parade to the family-friendly Island Fun Fest presented by three local churches, this week’s calendar will be filled with plentiful events for you to choose from (or attend all!).
Ocean City Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Welcome Night (Oct. 24)
The Ocean City Chamber of Commerce invites the community to attend its annual Welcome Night event at the Sports and Civic Center, located at 6th Street and Boardwalk. This free event, scheduled for Wednesday, October 24, from 6–8 p.m., provides a way for individuals to learn more about Ocean City organizations, businesses and groups.
Ocean City Halloween Parade (Oct. 25)
Get ready for the exciting Ocean City Halloween Parade, set to unfold on Thursday, October 25, at 7:15 p.m. Parade participants will march along Asbury Avenue, from 6th to 11th Streets, impressing the crowd with their creative costumes and unique parade presentations.
2018 Spooktacular Halloween Costume Party (Oct. 26)
Greater Ocean City Theatre Company will be hosting its annual fundraiser, the Spooktacular Halloween Costume Party, at the Ocean City Yacht Club on Friday, October 26, from 7–11 p.m. For $75 per person, guests will enjoy an evening of light bites, dancing and spirits, and the opportunity to raise money for an extraordinary local theatre group. Island Fall Fest (Oct. 27)
Three local churches will be hosting the Island Fall Fest on Saturday, October 27, from 5–7 p.m. at the Ocean City Tabernacle. Coastal Christian, St. Peter’s United Methodist and the Ocean City Tabernacle will present this evening of fall-inspired fun, featuring a trunk or treat event, face painting, pony rides, games and food offerings from Chick-fil-A, Drip N Scoop and Kona Ice.
