Charlie’s Bar, located at 800 Shore Road in Somers Point, is hosting two exciting upcoming events: the Annual Halloween Costume Party on Saturday, October 27, and the Charlie’s Pumpkin Open at Greate Bay Country Club to benefit the Dean Randazzo Cancer Foundation on Monday, October 29.
Charlie’s Annual Halloween Costume Party (Oct. 27)
Halloween fun isn’t just for the kids and Charlie’s Bar is making that fact known by hosting its annual Halloween Costume Party on Saturday, October 27. Starting at 9 p.m., Charlie’s Bar will be filled with ghosts, goblins and ghouls, sipping drinks and enjoying DJ music from DJ Tommy T-Bone throughout the night. Be sure to dress to impress in your best Halloween costume, as there will be multiple cash prizes awarded, including $250 for best costume, $250 for best couple costume and $300 for best group costume.
Charlie’s Pumpkin Open to Benefit the Dean Randazzo Cancer Foundation (Oct. 29)
Charlie’s Bar is also an avid fundraising participant within the community and the 22nd Annual Charlie’s Pumpkin Open to benefit the Dean Randazzo Cancer Foundation is one such example of the charitable nature of the Charlie’s team. This annual golfing event will unfold on Monday, October 29, from 10:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m., at the Greate Bay Country Club. The cost to attend the scramble-style golf tournament is $100 per golfer, which includes greens fees, cart, buffet at Charlie’s Bar and the chance to win some great prizes. Best of all, proceeds raised during the Pumpkin Open will go directly to benefit the Dean Randazzo Cancer Foundation, a local organization which operates on the mission “to raise money for cancer research and awareness and assist individuals battling cancer, both financially and emotionally.”
