It’s that time of the year again: Ocean City Farmers Market time! On Wednesday, June 26, the Ocean City Farmers Market returns to the Tabernacle grounds along the 500 block of Asbury Avenue.
Every Wednesday through September 4, from 8 a.m.–1 p.m., fresh farmers market goodies will be lined up as far as the eye can see. From robust, red Jersey tomatoes full of flavor and healthy antioxidants to baked goods of a wide array, you’ll be certain to fill your farmers market shopping bags with all sorts of wonderful locally-made products. Some of the items you’ll find include fresh fruits and vegetables, handmade crafts, flowers, breads and sweet treats, clothing, home decor items, jewelry, and so much more.
For the food and beverage shoppers of the farmers market crowd, some of the culinary vendors who will be on hand each week selling their delicious products include Wm. Schober Sons Orchards and Farm Market, Dr. Pickle, A.T. Buzby Farm, Drip N’ Scoop, Hank Sauce, and many more farmers and artisan vendors.
After finding all of your seasonal fruits and vegetables along with other delectable culinary items, stroll down Asbury Avenue, between 5th and 6th Streets, where you’ll find vendors selling household items, jewelry, accessories, toys, clothing for kids and adults, and other tempting farmers market items.
