Corvettes and Cycling for a Cause to Unfold in Ocean City This Weekend (Sept. 21-22)

Get ready, Ocean City! This weekend will be filled with jaw-dropping corvette displays and cyclists heading to town for a great cause. Whether you are a car aficionado or an individual raising funds for an excellent charity organization, the weekend of September 21–22 is for you.

MS City to Shore Ride (September 21)

On Saturday, September 21, the MS City to Shore Ride unfolds, where cyclists will cross the finish line in Ocean City after making the long trek from Cherry Hill. If you’re not participating in the event, make sure that you are waiting at the finish line at 5th Street and Boardwalk to cheer on approximately 7,000 cyclists. These bicyclists are riding mile after mile to raise money for the Multiple Sclerosis Society to be used in the fight against MS.

Annual Corvette Show (September 22)

For the lovers of cars and Corvettes, in particular, you won’t want to miss the Annual Corvette Show on the Ocean City boardwalk on Sunday, September 22. Stroll the boardwalk (6th Street through 14th Street) from 11:30 a.m.–4 p.m. as you take in the sights of Corvettes of all models. And, be sure to attend the awards ceremony at the Ocean City Music Pier at 3 p.m. where the winners of the Corvette Show will be announced.

This show is sponsored by the Boardwalk Corvettes organization and proceeds raised from the registration fees will benefit local charities. The Humane Society of Ocean City will be in attendance at the Music Pier collecting donations for their no-kill shelter as well as selling Humane Society items to raise funds for their cause.
